Έκθεση Θαλάσσιου Περιβάλλοντος

Μέσα στα βάθη των θαλασσών και στον Ελληνικό βυθό, υπάρχει ένας άγνωστος υπέροχος κόσμος, μια μαγευτική φυσική ομορφιά, που οι λίγοι που μπορούν να τον επισκέπτονται, έχουν το αίσθημα ότι μπαίνουν σ' ένα σιωπηλό παράδεισο με άπειρες παράξενες μορφές και χρώματα, με μύρια ζώα που μοιάζουν με φυτά και φυτά που μοιάζουν με ζώα. Το παιχνίδι της ζωής που παίζεται στη θάλασσα αφορά όλους τους ζωντανούς οργανισμούς της γης. Όλοι γεννιούνται, τρώνε και τρώγονται, παίζουν, μεγαλώνουν, αγωνίζονται, πολλαπλασιάζονται, διατηρώντας χωρίς να το γνωρίζουν τη θαυμαστή ισορροπία της ζωής που δημιουργήθηκε πριν εκατομμύρια χρόνια στο υγρό βασίλειο του Ποσειδώνα και την «παραδίδουν» με το πέρασμα του χρόνου σε κάθε καινούργια γενιά. Αυτή την οικολογική ισορροπία, που είναι η απόλυτη προϋπόθεση για τη διατήρηση όλων των ζωντανών πλασμάτων πάνω στη γη και το καθαρό φυσικό τους περιβάλλον, οι πολυπληθείς κάτοικοι του βυθού τα θεωρούν παντοτινά. Ο Ελληνικός βυθός είναι η μεγαλύτερη πηγή πλούτου που έχουμε. Είναι η ίδια η ζωή μας και πρέπει όλοι, πολίτες και κράτος, να κάνουμε ό, τι μπορούμε για να διατηρηθεί η ισορροπία του ζωντανού κόσμου της. Αυτό θα μας έλεγαν και οι λίγοι κάτοικοι του βυθού που παρουσιάζονται στον επισκέπτη.

Welcome to the Resource Registries for the Humanities.

This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS.

The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.

The tool takes advantage of the expertise and the available digital resources to improve the quality of users’ research or for educational purposes.

Cultural heritage managers (archivists, librarians, museum curators) leverage the collective expertise to maximize the social use of digital resources in the humanities and cultural heritage.

The content of the digital tool is being continuously enriched and updated with the aim to enhance the visibility of Greek analogue and digital content and to provide increased access to scholarly content. Therefore the contribution of users is essential.

The result was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of all the contributors of the institutions who responded to DYAS’ invitation. We are most grateful for the time they took to help with the project.
