Συλλογή Παιχνιδιών
Η συλλογή περιλαμβάνει λαϊκά και αστικά, εθιμικά, χειροποίητα και βιομηχανικά παιχνίδια καθώς και ρουχισμό και χρηστικά αντικείμενα της παιδικής ηλικίας από την Ελλάδα και την ευρύτερη περιφέρεια του Ελληνισμού, την Ευρώπη, την Αμερική, την Αφρική και χώρες της Ανατολής, που χρονολογούνται από τον 17ο αι. έως το τέλος του 20ου αι. Ιδιαίτερη ενότητα συλλογής αποτελούν τα παιχνίδια και τα χρηστικά αντικείμενα από τους αρχαίους, τους ρωμαϊκούς και τους βυζαντινούς χρόνους. Πλούσιο είναι το έντυπο υλικό που περιλαμβάνει αρχειακό υλικό, κάρτες και φωτογραφίες σχετικά με το παιδί και το παιχνίδι αλλά και πληροφορίες για τους κατασκευαστές παιχνιδιών και τους καταστηματάρχες του 19ου και 20ου αιώνα. Το έντυπο υλικό συμπληρώνεται με πιστοποιητικά γέννησης, βάπτισης, γάμου, σχολικά ενδεικτικά, ακόμα και προικοσύμφωνα και σχολικά τετράδια. Τέλος, τη συλλογή πλαισιώνουν πάνω από 6.000 βιβλία παιδικής λογοτεχνίας, ιστορικά, σχετικά με τη μελέτη των παιχνιδιών, περιοδικά καθώς και παιδικές εφημερίδες.

Welcome to the Resource Registries for the Humanities.
This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS.
The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.
The tool takes advantage of the expertise and the available digital resources to improve the quality of users’ research or for educational purposes.
Cultural heritage managers (archivists, librarians, museum curators) leverage the collective expertise to maximize the social use of digital resources in the humanities and cultural heritage.
The content of the digital tool is being continuously enriched and updated with the aim to enhance the visibility of Greek analogue and digital content and to provide increased access to scholarly content. Therefore the contribution of users is essential.
The result was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of all the contributors of the institutions who responded to DYAS’ invitation. We are most grateful for the time they took to help with the project.
