Στο Αρχείο Προφορικής Παράδοσης του Κέντρου Μικρασιατικών Σπουδών εντάχθηκε αρχικά φωτογραφικό υλικό το οποίο σταδιακά, λόγω του όγκου του, αυτονομήθηκε. Οι 7000 περίπου φωτογραφίες της συλλογής αποτυπώνουν τον χώρο της Μικράς Ασίας πριν τον εκπατρισμό, την κοινωνική και την καθημερινή ζωή των εκεί ελληνικών κοινοτήτων από το τέλος του δεκάτου ενάτου αιώνα έως το 1922. Μετά την ιστορική αυτή τομή, ο τόπος και η θεματολογία αλλάζουν. Κυριαρχούν, πλέον, οι εικόνες της προσφυγικής εγκατάστασης στην Ελλάδα. Χρονολογικά και θεματικά, το υλικό ταξινομείται ως εξής: - Η ζωή στους οικισμούς της Μικράς Ασίας πριν τον εκπατρισμό του 1922/1924. - Φωτογραφίες από τη μικρασιατική εκστρατεία (1919 – 1922). - Εικόνες από την προσφυγική εγκατάσταση στον ελλαδικό χώρο (μετά το 1922/1924). - Φωτογραφίες συνεργατών του Κέντρου Μικρασιατικών Σπουδών σε αποστολές για τη συλλογή υλικού στην Μικρά Ασία και την Ελλάδα. - Φωτογραφίες πληροφορητών του Κ.Μ.Σ., συνοδευμένες από τα βιογραφικά τους σημειώματα.

Welcome to the Resource Registries for the Humanities.

This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS.

The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.

The tool takes advantage of the expertise and the available digital resources to improve the quality of users’ research or for educational purposes.

Cultural heritage managers (archivists, librarians, museum curators) leverage the collective expertise to maximize the social use of digital resources in the humanities and cultural heritage.

The content of the digital tool is being continuously enriched and updated with the aim to enhance the visibility of Greek analogue and digital content and to provide increased access to scholarly content. Therefore the contribution of users is essential.

The result was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of all the contributors of the institutions who responded to DYAS’ invitation. We are most grateful for the time they took to help with the project.
