Εθνικό Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης (ΕΜΣΤ)
Κεντρικός άξονας της πολιτιστικής πολιτικής του ΕΜΣΤ είναι η κατάρτιση και ο εμπλουτισμός μόνιμων συλλογών με ελληνικό και διεθνή χαρακτήρα. Τρόποι απόκτησης έργων για τη συγκρότηση των μόνιμων συλλογών του ΕΜΣΤ είναι οι αγορές και κυρίως η απορρόφηση έργων τέχνης μέσω δωρεών. Οι συλλογές αυτές παρουσιάζουν μία αντιπροσωπευτική εικόνα των βασικών εννοιολογικών κατευθύνσεων της σύγχρονης τέχνης. Τα αποκτήματα του ΕΜΣΤ περιλαμβάνουν σημαντικότατες αγορές και δωρεές έργων που καλύπτουν τόσο τον ιστορικό όσο και τον συγχρονικό άξονα της μεταπολεμικής εικαστικής δημιουργίας. Ο καθαυτό ιστορικός άξονας του ΕΜΣΤ είναι το δεύτερο μισό του 20ού αιώνα, ενώ ο σύγχρονος αφορά το καλλιτεχνικό γίγνεσθαι με όλες τις τάσεις, τις κατευθύνσεις και τα χρησιμοποιούμενα μέσα.

Welcome to the Resource Registries for the Humanities.
This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS.
The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.
The tool takes advantage of the expertise and the available digital resources to improve the quality of users’ research or for educational purposes.
Cultural heritage managers (archivists, librarians, museum curators) leverage the collective expertise to maximize the social use of digital resources in the humanities and cultural heritage.
The content of the digital tool is being continuously enriched and updated with the aim to enhance the visibility of Greek analogue and digital content and to provide increased access to scholarly content. Therefore the contribution of users is essential.
The result was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of all the contributors of the institutions who responded to DYAS’ invitation. We are most grateful for the time they took to help with the project.
