Στις 20 Σεπτεμβρίου 1951 ιδρύεται εταιρεία με την επωνυμία «Μεταλλεία Βωξίτου Ελευσίνος Α.Ε.» με έδρα την Αθήνα. Σκοπός της εταιρείας ήταν η εκμετάλλευση μεταλλείων βωξίτη ή άλλων μεταλλείων, ορυχείων και λατομείων καθώς και η κατεργασία ή μεταποίηση και μεταλλουργία των προϊόντων αυτών. Το 1971 μετονομάζεται σε «Μεταλλεία Βωξίτου Ελευσίνος Μεταλλευτικαί Βιομηχανικαί και Ναυτιλιακαί Εργασίαι Ανώνυμος Εταιρεία». Το αρχείο της εταιρείας διαρθρώνεται ως εξής: Σειρά 1: Διοίκηση, Σειρά 2: Αλληλογραφία, Σειρά 3: Οικονομικά στοιχεία, Σειρά 4: Νομικά ζητήματα, Σειρά 5: Δραστηριότητες, Σειρά 6: Παραγωγή, Σειρά 7: Προσωπικό, Σειρά 8: Διάφορα
This tool was developed within the project DARIAH-GR Developing a Greek Research Infrastructure for the Humanities DYAS.
The user, an arts and humanities researcher or scholar can use the registries to access information on Greek institutions or individuals, and the collections, both analogue and digital, they own or manage.
The tool takes advantage of the expertise and the available digital resources to improve the quality of users’ research or for educational purposes.
Cultural heritage managers (archivists, librarians, museum curators) leverage the collective expertise to maximize the social use of digital resources in the humanities and cultural heritage.
The content of the digital tool is being continuously enriched and updated with the aim to enhance the visibility of Greek analogue and digital content and to provide increased access to scholarly content. Therefore the contribution of users is essential.
The result was made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of all the contributors of the institutions who responded to DYAS’ invitation. We are most grateful for the time they took to help with the project.
